The PS5 tools will get a little better, the XSX tools will get a lot better. The XSX tools are in a much more un-optimized early state so they have more room to improve. Yes both will get better dev tools but the point was the PS5 dev tools are already more optimized due to longer time in optimization.

More CUs running in parallel more than make up for a slight bump in clock speed. Yes the PS5 GPU is clocked a little higher but have many less cores running. They can use the faster memory where they need it, and use the slower RAM for all of the social media and other crap they have running. It is not like Xbone where the fast memory was only 32 M. Xsx development kit is intended to scale up and down from PC. The tools excuse is old and the developers having to get used to the hardware is misguided as hell. It is being showcased with game performance. I whole heartedly believe that the ps5 was better architecturally designed. I honestly think gamers don't really believe in architectural design differences allowing that power to be harnessed and utilized efficiently. Tetsdah 545d bro, I imagine in 3 years if the ps5 still outperforms xsx, the tools haven't matured enough still. Devs are going to optimize for both consoles.

That fact alone means the teraflops power difference you cling to isn't very the PS5 is weak. Fact of the matter is there is more PS5 and XSX are different architectures based on the same tech.
